Delete your Instagroan account and data

Instagroan is an app by Inginity Studio. This page explains how to delete your account and the data associated with it, what is deleted, and what we keep.

There are two ways to delete your account: in the app (immediate), or by email if you no longer have the app installed.

Option 1 — In the app (immediate)

Open Instagroan.
Go to Settings → Privacy.
Tap Delete account & data and confirm.

If the app asks you to sign in again first, that is a security check: sign in, then repeat the steps. This works for guest accounts too.

Option 2 — Without the app

Email info@inginity.studio from the email address you use for Instagroan, with the subject “Delete my Instagroan account”. We will confirm the request with that address, delete your account and associated data within 30 days, and email you when it is done.

Email a deletion request

Using Instagroan as a guest? A guest account holds no name or email address. You can delete it with Option 1, or simply uninstall the app — the guest ID cannot be used again without it. If you bought a subscription as a guest and want your records removed, email us with your App Store or Google Play order number.

What is deleted

Your account: email address, display name, sign-in credentials and user ID
Your profile
Every groan and meme saved to your Library, including meme images
Your daily usage counters (these also expire automatically within 48 hours)

What we keep, and for how long

Purchase and subscription records — kept by Apple, Google and our subscription processor for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Server logs — contain your user ID but never the text you enter; deleted automatically within 30 days.
Analytics and crash reports — only exist if you turned them on; not linked to your email address; deleted automatically within 14 months (analytics) and 90 days (crash reports).
Text you submitted to generate puns — not stored by us; deleted by our AI provider within 30 days (up to 2 years if it was flagged for violating its usage policies).

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. To stop future charges, cancel in the App Store (Settings → your name → Subscriptions) or Google Play (Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions).

Delete some of your data without deleting your account

Saved groans and memes: open your Library and delete any item.
Analytics and crash reports: Settings → Privacy → turn off Share usage & crash reports.
Advertising choices: Settings → Privacy → Ad privacy options (shown where required), or your device's tracking and ads settings.
Anything else: email info@inginity.studio and tell us what you want removed.
